CURRICULUM VITAE
I was born in Rome on January 25th 1958.
In 1985 I graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Perugia, with the final vote of 110/110 cum laude.
In 1988 I won the public contest for the role of Technical Graduate Institute of Hydrobiology & Fishery at University of Perugia.
In 2002 I won the public contest for the role of Researcher for the academic sector - disciplinary BIO/07 (Ecology) and took service in 2004 at the Department of Animal Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Mathematical Physical and Natural Sciences at University of Perugia.
SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES
As part of my research I served as scientific coordinator for projects financed by the following Administrations: Umbria Region, Terni Province, Perugia Province, Pesaro-Urbino Province; Comunità Montana Monti Martani e del Serano; Comunità Montana Alto Tevere umbro; Comunità Montana Valnerina; Comunità Montana Associazione Comuni Trasimeno - Medio Tevere; Comunità Montana Alto Chiascio; Comune di Foligno; Consorzio per la Bonificazione Umbra;; Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry - Fisheries and Aquaculture sector, ARPA - Umbria; Cassa di Risparmio Foundation.
I represented the Institute of Hydrobiology and Fisheries of Perugia University in the Technical Committees for the Tiber River Park and the Nera River Park.
Since 1994, I am the Coordinator of the Ichthyic Laboratory of the Animal Ecology and Biology Department of Perugia University.
From 1991 to 1994 I was member of the Fisheries Consult of Perugia Province as an expert representing Perugia University.
Since 1999 I am member of the Fisheries Consult of Umbria Region as an expert representing Perugia University.
In 1999 I joined the project FishBase'98 developed by the International Center for Living Aquatic Resources Management in collaboration with the FAO.
In 2003 I took part at the planning of a project for the operations of silt removal by Trasimeno Lake as an expert representing Perugia University in the working group of the Perugia Province.
Since 2008 I am member of the Territorial Coordination Plan of the Terni Province.
In 2009 I participated as an expert of Perugia University to the regional commission for the regulation on the activities of aquatic sports in the rivers of Umbria.
In 2009 I took part to the realization of the Plan of the Regional Park of Trasimeno Lake.
In 2011 I participated as an expert of the Perugia University to the working group of the Umbria Region to assess the actions on the minimum flow required by the Regional Plan of Waters Protection.
